The website
Your website is a deployment surface for four of your stories, each in a fixed position, each in a specific length.
Four stories at fixed positions
Above the fold goes one line, because a first-time visitor grants you exactly one line before they decide whether to scroll. Which story it comes from depends on the question that opened this section, what you are selling right now. Selling belief, before the product has proved itself, it is the Vision line, a pointer into the scene further down, or the Purpose line if your difference is the fight. Selling the promise, once the product is real and the visitor already knows their problem, it is the Product line. Selling proof, it is one result from an Impact Story. The line moves as the company moves, and the rest of the page holds its shape. The Customer Story owns the product page, and it ends at the longing, just before the product section resolves it, which means the stop you learned in Part 3 becomes part of the information architecture of the page itself. Impact populates the proof layer, as stories rather than logos wherever you can manage it. And the About page is simply your sixty-second Origin, written down. That last point explains something you have probably noticed: About pages written without a deep version all sound identical, because they are all assembled from the same generic parts. Yours will not, because yours is cut from a real story.
