We are made of stories
Around the fires
Long before there were business plans, marketing funnels, or job titles, there were fires.
Around them, people told stories. Of survival, of gods, of love, of loss. These stories passed the time, and they passed meaning. They taught what mattered. They carried knowledge from one generation to the next. They wove identity and belonging and trust into the fabric of a community.
We did not evolve to absorb spreadsheets. We evolved to feel what matters, and to remember what might save us.
