Deployment depends on your stage

Section Four. The deployment map: which stories, in what order, for every room you walk into.

Deployment depends on your stage

Before we walk through the rooms, one thing that governs all of them.

The maps you are about to learn, the investor pitch, the sales conversation, the website, are defaults. They quietly assume a company with a product in the market and some proof behind it. Most companies are not there yet, and the right deployment depends on where you are. There are three stages, and the only thing that really changes between them is which story leads.

Look at a company like Unibio. The site opens on the mission, architects of a sustainable future, and on the why now, a population surge with protein demand about to double. The product and the fermentation technology come after that, not before it. The team’s thirty years at Cargill and Novozymes do the work that revenue will do later, and the impact page is comparative proof, seventy times less land than soy, cited, rather than customer stories that do not exist yet. That is a vision-led deployment, and it is correct for the stage.

So before you build any of these, ask one question: what am I selling right now, belief, the promise, or proof? The six stories never change. Which one leads, and in what order, moves with your stage.
