The farm manager’s sentence: one line of evidence

The most powerful moment in an Impact Story is almost never a number. It is a single human sentence, and where you put it decides everything.

The Unibio close

Here is a real one. Unibio makes a protein for fish feed that replaces volatile fishmeal. A Norwegian salmon farm trialled it for a full production cycle. They could close that story on the data: the inclusion rate, the digestibility holding, the feed costs stable through a period when fishmeal prices moved sharply. All true, all proof. But that is not how the story ends. It ends with what the farm manager said after the first full cycle: I have not checked the fishmeal price in six weeks. That sentence is the closing image. Not the percentage. The anxiety that had quietly moved somewhere smaller. Because for three years that man had checked the price every single morning, and now he had forgotten to. That is what the proof means, rendered as one human line.
