Where product stories go wrong, and the payoff

Four ways product stories fail, a fifth if you have a range, and then your payoff.

How product stories fail

The payoff

If you made the two before recordings in Part 3, Lesson 1.1, find them and play them back. If you did not, bring to mind how you described your customer and your product on the day you started. Either way, now read your built Customer Story and your built Product Story aloud, in that order. The before was a problem and a product, described separately, from the outside, the way almost everyone does it. The after is a world someone recognises as their own, followed by a change they can feel. The distance between those recordings is exactly what you built in this part, and if you can hear it, so can every customer you ever describe from now on.
