The two tracks: established, and just starting
Before the writing exercise, I want to address something that comes up for a lot of people right here.
What if I am just starting out? What if I do not have seven years of industry experience like Clara? What if the company is three months old, or three weeks, and I have not had the farmhouse kitchen moment yet?
A blank page is not a weak story
Here is the thing I most want you to take from this whole course if you are in that position. A blank page is not a weak story. It is an unbuilt one. And every story you are missing has already happened to you. You have lived an origin, even if you have never written a word of it down. The raw material is not something you have to go and acquire. It is your own life, and you already have all of it.
So you do not need to have built anything to write an Origin Story. You need to be clear about what you understood, what you are betting on, and why you specifically are the person making this bet.
